If you're ready to move beyond proficiency, you'll want to consider the Avid family of certification programs. Some certifications can be completed on your own, some in Avid classrooms, some require a bit of both. After satisfactorily completing the course work required for any of the certification paths listed below, you'll be able to work in an Avid production environment, in Avid technical support, become an Avid instructor, or apply your expertise to enrich your own career path.
Avid Certified User (ACU) Program
The ACU program provides an efficient and effective process for self-assessment, self-improvement and self-promotion for all who excel or wish to excel as Avid system editors. No matter what your skill level, this program will demonstrate your proficiency and help communicate your skills to those who need to know.
Avid Certified Support Representative (ACSR) Program
The ACSR program trains and tests technically qualified professionals to provide state-of-the-art support on Avid Symphony, Avid Media Composer, Avid Xpress, Avid|DS, Avid|DS HD, and Avid Unity MediaNetwork systems.
Avid Certified Instructor (ACI) Program
The ACI Program provides training to qualified educators, editors, visual effects artists, graphic designers, and others who can then educate other users of Avid products.
