Avid VideoRAID ST and VideoRAID SR direct attach disk arrays: Avid's next generation high-capacity SATA-based storage solutions with 3GB SAS interconnect. Avid VideoRAID next generation systems combine real-time performance, cost-effective SATA drive technology, and the security of fail-safe data protection in the event of a disk drive failure.



Available in a 5-drive tower (ST) or a 16-drive rackmount (SR) configuration, affordable Avid VideoRAID disk arrays support a wide range of Avid editing systems and third-party applications via industry-standard SAS interconnect, while providing the protection of parity Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks (RAID) technology. Raw capacity ranges from 2.5 TB to a massive 32 TB per editing system.

Unlike other RAID solutions that may be unusable during a drive rebuild, Avid VideoRAID maintains full performance while rebuilding in the background.
  • Engineered for the pace of digital content creation. Innovative striping technology ensures real-time playback of up to two streams of 1:1 HD, supported on as few as ten Avid VideoRAID drives.
