The system may be configured with the following options:

RAM – Avid DS ships with 8GB of RAM, the ideal configuration for most post production work.  When Avid DS is to be deployed on 2k and 4k projects, 16 GB may offer increased performance for complex compositing.  The HP xw8600 workstation will accept a maximum of 32 GB RAM.

Storage – VideoRaid SR storage is available in 8TB and 16TB configurations (note: DS supports only VideoRaid SR; VideoRaid ST is NOT supported))
